ABOUT US

where we started

All the best tapas restaurant are off the beaten track, so when we stumbled across the doors of an empty warehouse on the cobbled, back streets of Leith back in 2009, a spark was ignited, and Tapa was born. 

Taking the finest produce and inspiration from all across Spain, we’ve taken our experiences over the years to paint our own picture of Spain, and Tapa is the culmination of our efforts.

OUR FOOD PHILOSOPHY

“We have sourced fresh ingredients from all across Spain and infused them with the best that Scotland has to offer to create a dynamic, and innovative menu.

Our Wine list encompasses our favourite regions and grapes and includes fantastic quality wines from some of Spain’s lesser-known areas. Our goal is to let you experience Spain, as we would want to experience it ourselves – Good Food, Great Wine & Fantastic Fun.
